I mounted mine with Curt custom under bed mounts and cross rails. My hitch is very adjustable-back and forth, up and down without any clunking. I understand B&W is a first class company in customer service, too. It's all of high quality, and even made in the USA. It's simply as good a hitch as they make. Ok,users of the Patriot give me the good and the bad of using this hitch.Cant use Companion without changing out my Curt turnover gooseneck ball.Use a Reese now and had no mechanicall issues just clunks and bangs.
